Terms & Conditions (Pay-As-You-Go Service)

Company Name: APE – Ares Prepaid Electricity (“APE,” “we,” “us,” or “Company”)
Service Type: Prepaid Pay-As-You-Go Electricity Service
Weekly Flat Rate: $50 per week (unlimited usage)
1. Overview of Service
APE provides prepaid, no-deposit, no-contract electricity service on a weekly pay-as-you-go basis. Customers pay $50 per week for continued access to electricity service. Payments must be made in advance to maintain active service.
2. Eligibility
To enroll in APE’s prepaid service, customers must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Provide accurate identification and contact information
-
Have a service location eligible for electricity connection in our operating area
APE reserves the right to approve or deny service based on service-area availability or safety requirements.
3. Payment Requirements

The weekly service fee is $50, due before electricity service is provided.

Payments cover a 7-day period from the date/time they are received.

The customer is responsible for ensuring payments are made on time.

If full payment is not received before the next service period begins, electricity service may be disconnected automatically.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Online payment, auto-pay, cash locations, or other approved payment channels listed on our website.
4. Disconnection for Non-Payment
Because this is a prepaid service:

Failure to pay the weekly $50 fee results in automatic disconnection without further notice.

Service will be restored once the required payment is received and processed.

APE is not responsible for damages or losses arising from disconnection due to non-payment.
5. No Contracts / No Deposits
APE Pay-As-You-Go service does not require:

A long-term contract

A deposit
-
A credit check
Customers may stop service at any time by ceasing payment or notifying APE.
6. Usage & Service Limitations
Although APE offers an "Unlimited Power" weekly flat rate, service is still subject to:

Grid stability
-
Weather or outage-related events
-
Utility provider interruptions
-
Maintenance or emergency service work
APE does not guarantee uninterrupted electricity and is not liable for outages caused by external utility providers or natural events.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:

Maintain updated contact and billing information

Make timely weekly payments
-
Report service issues promptly
-
Use electricity safely and in compliance with local codes

Allow required meter access when necessary
8. Notices & Communication
APE may send account notices, payment reminders, or service updates by:

Email

Text message
-
Automated calls
-
Website dashboard notifications
By enrolling, customers consent to receive electronic communications related to their service.
9. Refund Policy
Because service is prepaid:

Payments are non-refundable once electricity service has been activated for the week.

Any payment made prior to activation may be refunded upon request if service was never initiated.
10. Termination of Service
APE reserves the right to terminate service for:

Illegal electricity usage

Tampering with meters or equipment

False identification or fraudulent activity

Safety or regulatory violations
Customers may terminate service at any time by discontinuing payment.
11. Limitation of Liability
APE is not responsible for:

Loss of property, income, or perishables due to outages

Damages from interruptions or disconnections

Losses caused by non-payment or customer negligence
Liability is limited to the amount the customer paid during the active service week in question.
12. Changes to Terms
APE may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified via email or website posting. Continued use of service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
